I play in 2d mode only... always have. And yeah, the graphics for UO suck, but I've been going back and forth from that game for nearly 5.5 years now, so they have something right in the gameplay. Lessee.. AoS is the newest expansion for the game. It added things like resists, some crafting things, ...

Yeah, it seems rather full. When I logged in at around 2:30 pm EST there were 1038 people playing. It's a great combination of pre UO:R and the good things post UO:R though (like precasting, instahit, house looting, but adding runebooks, etc), so I can see why it's so popular.

I have several friends from my original UO guild playing there, and I just d/l'd UO Gateway myself, so I think I'm gonna try it. Let me know if you mess around with it any.
