Yes, I agree. It is not only midgard that is affected. We are just affected the most for the obvious reasons. The tower would be a better idea b/c it could bock spells and arrows. thus giving tanks a way to GET to the keep/tower.
Just look at midevil seiging. there was always something to help the melee get closer to the walls.

Gank groups are still very effective for midgard. I ran one with my savage in Albion and we were tearing up albs and hibs right and left. These enemy groups are coming for sieges and not open field combat. Thus the fights were short and sweet with the enemy being demolished. However, this isn't the case for everyone. I loved doing this as well as a few other people who were in my group. (mostly tanks) Our support people didn't enjoy it as much or get as much RP as a keep fight. So that is part of the problem. It isn't that we don't want to play our tank classes, it is we don't want to play our tank classes at a keep. If they added ladders, siege towers, etc it would be much more fun to get in and tear shit up again.
