It's gonna be tons better than EQ [and anything else out there atm], Brad Mcquaid is the Ceo of the company, he's the guy that created EQ.

So tons of people who worked on EQ are working this, including the main artist. It really looks and sounds very promising.

Some of the GMs that I know from my old EQ guide/quest troop days are doing beta. I will most likely do beta once it hits phase 3. Ive talked to them [most hard core gamers] and they are all saying things like:

JazzXXXX: it's probably gonna be the most complete mmorpg you can play yet
Xari Voors: complete?
JazzXXXX: thought out, bug free, balanced


TrollXXXXX09: I'm telling you right now that this is going to be THE game to play. Brad is leaving no stone unturned and nothing to chance. The mechanics are going to leave the players in complete awe.
Xari Voors: Sounds great hun, but the thought of playing any games with no "end" to them, or at least no "high end" rather than farm your ass off for gear does not interest me.
TrollXXXXX09: Dont even worry about that, there will be a high end game and a "goal" to reach. Keep checking the site and follow the storyline. The writers are so talented. Trust me, I wouldnt lead you into another EQ never ending cycle. I'll try to send you a sample of the inner writing to give you an idea.

TrollXXXXX09: There will be a group like the old QT as well, I hope you find an interest in that as well. Lots of freeform freedom with the game and the players.

Anyhoot, Ive read whats available and spoke to a few people I know and trust as well. This game is very appealing to me. PvP will be implemented but that may not come until after the game goes live. From what i have been told there will be a poll on the site as well as among the beta testers.

I wish they would steal ideas from UO instead of EQ... There was so much more you could do.

Nothing they are doing is "Ground Breaking"

They are using the unreal 2.0 engine which also is a downside, frankly in my opinion i'll play EQ2 PvE before I play this one.

I also think DnL has much more potential then this.
