Has anyone read a good thing about this game except from the fanboi sites? I've heard nothing but bad things.

To tell you the truth in my opinion its an awesome game. Will I quit daoc to play it?.... no I enjoy daoc too much to do that. I do plan on playing it alot tho.

I've been in beta for a while now, and honestly the people complaining either haven't played in the last month, or are focusing too much on one aspect of the game.

IMO it is the best game out there, from an overall, well rounded standpoint. It needs more content...yes, but it has more than all 3 realms of daoc combined right now. PvP is fun, but it isn't a central focus. There are 10 huge planets to explore, each with several static "dungeons" (most are things like imperial fortresses) with several more coming next patch. Graphics are incredible, but that doesn't make a game.

Dunno, I've had fun, especialy the last few weeks. I bought it and canceled my daoc accounts, but then again I haven't had much fun in daoc since the bard nerf last year.

And yeah, we are on Radiant server, Talus planet, Dearic city. Those that were in daoc who are in game are me (candide), hyla, mosthula, serephina, tygra (who was saphyre). Daoiid another one who is playing and was briefly over here.

We have about a dozen local folks playing.

i also starting a char in Bria with my West coast friends for the ping and the easy access
