Okay, I know I don’t have enough brownie points to be the mediator of this topic, shnaps, the lot of you don’t know me, are indifferent towards me, resent me, or down right hate me, still though, someone has to start it, let see if it is success.

I do not know about the rest of you, but I am looking to Barbos as being our new guild leader! His post are easy to understand, he does not seem all that snooty, he host our boards on his site, and he possesses that “I’m cool” quality about him. I think he makes for a likely candidate as absolute authoritarian.

What I was thinking, is that say five of us (I don’t have to be included) can get onto AIM and develop some solid camaraderie. Set a date for the lot of you to buy a specific game that doesn’t require a monthly fee, and play the fudge out of it as a click. Its all basic shit, in a nutshell, we need a sense of origin.

ok, some arbitrary number - at least 2, at most 7 - of us need to grab Nameless Empire by the balls and put it back on its feet. It doesn't need to be what it was before, or the best it can be - it just needs to BE. Right now we lack validity and direction. Who *knows* they always have been, and always will be, Nameless Empire?

Step up.

I'll throw my lot in. I have time, intelligence, commitment, and I'm just awesome enough.
I won't name names, but the rest of you that believe - and know - do your damn duty.

When Shadowbane comes out, you fellas have my un-dieing devotion. I will be playing alot, and of course I wont be alone. Whatever it is we will be calling ourselves, I will be here for the support, Im not going anywhere for a while. Representing noobs everywhere will be my associates GraveLender and a couple others.

In my sentiments I think we should develop structure as we go, Shadowbane is not a good base of operations, before we can do the whole guild vs. guild thing, we have to think of ourselves as being a guild. Before that, we have to throw all this role playing nonsense out of the window, it will just divide us as a guild and encourage the recruitment members who will only hinder our development. I have a serious handicap when it comes to playing hot key oriented hand eye coordinated games, such as counter strike, but it seems the ideal game for the lot of us to ground the core of this guild in, sense it is flexible.

You don’t have to worry about level barriers, the vastness of the world that makes it difficult to group up, and role playing aspect that brings the heat of unwanted NPC’s. It is quick paced, easy to find a common ground, group up, and do without if a person has to log off for one reason or another. In Counter Strike it is all or nothing, your skill is determined by your actual abilities as a CS player… and the speed of your computer, which kind of sucks. Although it may not be to the liking of many of you, it is relatively inexpensive and it does not require a monthly fee, that and, oodles of hot Asian girls play Counter strike.

I will most likely not play Shadowbane, but would like to play any other good games with the guild.

Barbos would be a fine choice. Another member Sov and I really appreciated was Godar later on as he seems to have the loudest SB forum voice. Great work guys and good to see you keeping NE alive. Rolo you and GL have been busting me up on these boards bro. Just like the olden days in BWC.
