You can't log in until you activate your account by clicking the link on the email that is sent out to you.
If you use an invalid email address, you can't activate your account (of course).
If you have activated your account and it still does not work, I can reset the password and send an email to the address the account was registered to.
If you have not, I can delete the account and let you re-register.
If you get it working, please let me know the other account names, so I can delete them.
Email me at
barbos@bloodwinterclan.com on what you want to do.

I'm here to try and talk ya in to EQ2.
EQ was enough to show anyone that played it what the deal with EQ2 will be.
A constant pissing contest [consisting of other players "inspecting" you and your gear and the tag that flies over your head][my gear is better then your gear crap]with no high end game whatsoever unless you consider camping mobs that drop anything decent with 60+ people to then decide who gets what of the 3-6 items that actually drop.
I know that personally for me its the key quests that I'll miss the most. <rolls eyes> Or maybe it will be the epic quests for gear that will be outdated with the next expansion [and you can look forward to a bazillion expansions with level increases [yes, more and more camping for all you PvE players out there] and anything else they can think of to keep you playing with no ring to grab at the end of it. There is no end, period. Nothing to aspire to reach.
I would rather pluck the hairs from Ron Jeremy's man-sack with my teeth one at a time then even consider going anywhere near EQ ever again.
Thats a
BIG no thank you.

Well, I went back to EQ after a stint with DAoC and they revamped it considerably to make it player friendly. Namely, they have a system where you and your group start a quest and you get an entire dungeon to yourself to finish the quest. That's good customer quality if you ask me.
I won't try and convince anyone, but frankly I got tired of PVP games that revamp and revamp and suddenly the game is so far off from what it used to be, it's not even the same game from release, and the PVP STINKS.
EQ2 is already well balanced and awesome.
If anyone is interested in EQ2, let me know.

Glad you like it Gympy. I have access to a beta account and may log in to chk it out. I will not be playing it for launch though. Too many games...too little time, and no PvP for teh lose. BTW, how are the servers running? I heard the graphics were just bogging them down at E3.

I can't see myself playing a game without some sort of end-game PVP again. But who knows, I will most likely try both and head to the one I like most. I just hope one of them is better then DAOC.

No pvp will suck, but frankly, pvp like the new DAoC sucks. PVP in L2 sucked, PvP in Shadowbane sucked, and from everything I've read about WoW's pvp, I'm just not impressed.
So rather than investing time in to a game that has a greater chance for change to a major component of the game like pvp (and we all know how well change went for daoc) I have decided to go with EQ2. There's just less to mess up frankly, and being as hard core PVP as I am, I was amazed at how well EQ had worked game content in so it was very fun to just play pve.
But like I said, I was just tossing the idea out to you guys, and I'm not here to stir up a fight about which game will be better. If you guys are going WoW, I hope I hear good reviews from it in case EQ2 tanks, I'll need another game to go to!
