i think they need to be punished by having the pistons banned from the playoffs this year and Wallace needs a 1 year suspension as well as prosecution of fans involved in the incident

I was in New Orleans this past week and didn't see your post.
DO NOT FUCK WITH PEOPLE FROM DETROIT!
Artest is an ass. He runs away from "Big" Ben Wallace, then goes after the wrong guy in the stands.
He should have never run up into there anyway. He got what he deserved.
This is just more ammo for the rest of the Nation to rip on Detroit. We haven't had anything bad happen here since the 84 Tigers riot.
Other cities examples besides Detroit.....
Montreal 93....burns town after stanley cup win.
L.A. Lakers, Rodney King...need we say more....
Cleveland Snowball, bottle throwing incident.
Colorado and Columbine...WTF. Peaceful state and city my ASS!
