I just cant understand How people can still enjoy DAOC. I tried I really did but I would rather have my nuts clacked with a spike bat than play daoc.

well ive only been playing daoc for about a year and a couple months so i can still find things i havent done and enjoy. Most likely you've played daoc for 3+years and are just bored of it which is understandable. I just dont see any other better games out, and dont see anything special about wow and dont like the feel of it.

I am actually thinking about going back to DAOC. After taking 1-2 months off, I find myself missing it. WoW is a great game, but with no definate end-game, I have my concerns.
Logging onto my hunter or SM, it has been a new fresh thing. Before Bulor's post about Drutt, the Mid BG was really good. Lot's of people working together.
WoW is pretty. WoW is new.
WoW doesn't have 3 realms. And I know. Buff Bot's suck.
But the lack of characters all around, and only 2 realms bothers me.
I would honestly play a game that would COPY right from DAOC. Before ToA and NF. 3 realms is one of the best ideas EVER. From FPS to MMORPG's. The fact that they can balance a war with three factions is great.
Disclaimer....
This is not a DAOC Fanboi...Just a personal thought. Many things I wish WoW and DAOC could merge together for the ultimate game.
It will never happen, but....I can enjoy BOTH.....can't I ?

I've had that thought to Phill, about the merge of DAoC and WoW. Sadly it's something that probably won't happen in our lifetime.

You guys need to wait a another month or two and real PvP/rewards will be in WoW. They've said they're working on it on their site, and actually what they've posted looks pretty interesting. The rewards are pretty cool sounding too...

i'll still log into lance if there's a good 8v8 group that needs me.
otherwise, its kinda stupid thumbing around for a group when you could be solo'ing in wow
