I know, I know, some of you say it lacks depth. Yes, it is true that you don't have the joy of making 20+ schlomo runs to get the item you desire, or round up 40 people to attempt a 8 hour Onyxia raid, and I'm sure many of us will miss that fun!

But was it does have is group arena tournament PVP. And to me, thats 100x better than wow pvp.

No zergs
You make a group, enter the arena and fight another group
The winner advances to a different arena with different objectives to fight another group
Keep winning and keep advancing

Maybe it won't capture my attention for 3 years like DAOC did, but it sure beats the hell out of Wow pvp, at least until battlegrounds are in.

WoW has no structured PvP.

6 months later they are still stringing their customer's along in hopes one day for PvP.

Daoc did a poll on a new server for it customers and some of the choices were a No TOA server, Homeland invasion server (where there are no boarders like WoW), other options were Radius bufs (no bots), and limitied XP per week (for casual players.)

Everyone pretty much voted for a No TOA server. But MAN if they had a No TOA, no NF Server my ass is there in a second.

I'm up for GW till whatever.

I liked the Home Invasion option myself. I would think it would be cool to go into others homeland but that would be like mordred only difference would be everyone isnt a target.
