What freaks me out is that someone has this thing in an aquarium and keeps it as a "pet".
<shivers>
I wonder if it started off very small and grew to adapt to it's surroundings [you know like snakes and lizards will grow to a size compatable to the size cage they are kept in] and whoever has it adapted it's diet as well to accomodate it's size.
either way, gross.
