Been playing the Preview weekend all morning and servers are up and pretty stable, also population is equal because of the caps.

I'm assuming they will add more servers come launch? but not sure.

I've been playing the preview on Kraka Drak...first time trying WAR and the game is pretty fun so far. Definitely has potential.

Anyone playing the preview on there ... I have a char named Smugly right now. Going along with my requirement of always making the ugliest character possible it is a female dwarf engineer. I probably won't be on that much though except for maybe friday and sunday nights.

I made a BW, they are pretty good. Anyone know what are considered the top healing classes right now for both sides? I've only tried a Disciple of Khaine so far. Or do they all have advantages and disadvantages?

zealot and rune priest are the true healers of each side. Shaman/archmage are like hybrid caster/healers. DOK/warrior priest are hybrid melee healers. Simply put. Some of the hybrids can be pretty useful in a group, some are better off as soloers.

if you can heal, or you can damage stuff, you should be useful in a group :dontgetit:

the problem with a hybrid like the warrior priest, is that you arent good at anything specifically. You are an ok healer and an ok dps. It is usually better for a group to have a straight dps or a straight healer. Obviously in a random pug decent heals are better than no heals, but an ideal group situation not so much.

nil I'm going to say your half wrong here, have you played a high level heal specced shaman?

They heal as good as a zealot IMO. Each class offers something different, buffs, hots, group heals etc.

this is true i havent played all those classes at max level. Just trying to give a basic description. Doesn't the shaman have to do damage to heal though, or can that be changed? This is why i was saying the other classes are the primary healers. Are any of the sham heal spells instant also?
