My point was that just cause something has always worked a certain way doesn't mean it always will. What is gained from experience is dependant on how you utilize those experiences in your mind.

Glad I'm at least pretty humurous. I didn't realize we were discussing anything related to ability of gaming. Not that it gives anyweight but for the sake of accuracy my to0n got to 34, which isn't bad when you're a midguard archer, play at late hours, and are constantly neglected by the guild members that are on (the later levels, when I was lower the armor I was able to purchase fromt he guild helped alot as well as the guilds standard hook-up. it was mid-level support/grouping that was lacking during my play hours). I don't need to carry weight in my gaming communit cause it's people I work with. I could care less about weight since it doesn't affect my in game potential.

This isn't really a response to that quote but that said I expect ShadowBane to be lacking in quite a few areas as compared to their promises. What I expect/expected that drew my interest was a reasonable amount of player skill involved in combat (imho to suck at fighting in existing games when using a reasonably equiped,leveled, and speced character you have to be highly unskilled) and an individually controlled, lasting, and evolving impact of defeat, victory, and survival.
If shadowbane meets my expectation I will play it regardless of how many/few BWC and people I know IRL are playing. If not I will take a 2nd look at SWG and a 1st look at whatever I haven't looked at to determine what game suits me. If BWC ends up with a decent showing in the game I play I'll be there in full.

IMHO after playing SB for a couple of days it's a giant POS!
Graphics = suck.
Lag = huge = suck.
Bugs = huge = suck.
Point-n-click = gay.
It feels like Doom 2 graphics meets Dungeon Seige in the buggiest title I've ever played. Anarchy Online beta was more stable and richer overall as a game.
The real problem with SB is it's 5 years old and totally OUTDATED. Retrieving items from corpses LMFAO - no way I'm every doing that again.
It's an outdated game with sub-par graphics and a ton of bugs. Not worth buying on March 25th.
I thought it was HILARIOUS when I read the billing section and it said $119.00 for 1 year subscription and you un-lock all 3 restricted races ... they just know this game is a flop and are trying to get as much cash as they can.

Its about haveing a city of 180 people and siegeing another city with 180 people. And haveing battles with 40+ people. I have played DAOC LoL 20+ people in a fight you cant move. Aerynth is not laggy most of the time at all and they have 2k people on it. Other servers are because they are faggots and wont up the bandwidth for beta.
Ask Supremme he was there with us last night while we sieged he was our support summoner
so I dont think he sah to much action.

It is best way to play MMORPGs, just need to get used to it and it gives best conrtol over the game and what your doing. Guess it doesnt matter as much in games with lest complex playing but SB it works great.
