Raid assist does nothing for you but let you see the people's health that are in your raid. There is absolutely no reason that Blizzard shouldn't have included this in the first place. The scripts that heal for you, stop you from healing, auto dispell and whatnot are very different from ct raid assist, and I personally believe that these scripts boarder on botting, and hope that Blizzard takes a stand against auto heals and dispells at the very least, that's just me though /shrug.


Either way I heard this group's particular loot system was pretty borked by a guild priest that was in the raid today. He let our guild know that it's a waste to bother with them (as far as their raid tonight went at least).

The Resonance priest was pretty angry that they didn't let him roll on an engineer schematic when he didn't even have engineering while there were engineers there within his independent group who had 300.

Yeah, I wasn't there so I can't say one way or the other. His primary gripe wasn't that he couldn't roll, but was that apparantly the loot rules were constantly changing, and were nothing like the original description given.

i have to voice my omg i am not a fan of ctraid assist . spent time in molten core today when i turned the thing on ended up stickin my icons under my current ui . which i didnt like then couldnt seem to get the bars to drag to a clean place..

so i have to voice the its off my system and wont ever be put back on i dont play a priest so i dont wanna heal 40 people . so if that means no molten core for me whatevers cleaver =)

fyi killets ya can have your own views ideas and grander on the ui of choice however we the people can have a way of sayin i choose not free will its a bitch so stop spreadin the hate and being rather rude about it =)

Heh, no offense, but you are a subpar dps class, and a subpar tanking class. The only thing your class excells at in PvE is healing and CCing outdoors and on beasts/dragonkin. With that attitude about your class I guess it's a good thing you don't mind missing out on MC, because aside from incombat rezzing every half hour a druid that doesn't heal or dispell is worthless to an MC raid. /shrug

i dont mind playin the role of a healer hell many times over in ubrs lbrs scholo etc i pull up a chair and heal hence why i am a restoration healin spec'd druid .

i was just voicing my views and thoughts about the topic of my lack of the ctraid mod.

and fyi sirion with the right armor change in bear form we be clubbin when it comes to off tankin and additional agro management =)

lmao. you think i don't know about druids? we got ragnaros to 78% last night, which is whatever, but this was with my _Druid_. We didn't wipe once in MC either until rag (cleared it in 2 days, 7 hours total).

I can tell you exactly what your druid is going to be doing...

1) Lucifron. Mass cure cursing. If you wanna do this without CT_RaidAssist, go ahead. But odds are, you will suck at it, and your spot would be better off given to someone who does have it.

2) Magmadar. You will be on a healing rotation, and monitoring every priests mana, and innervating whatever priest runs low. You will run around bandaging unfortunate idiots who got hit by lava spews. You will be subpar at this job without CT Raid Assist, since you will not be able to monitor 40 health bars without it.

3) Garr. You will either be on the healing rotation assigned to the main tank on garr, or you will be responsible for healing your group tanking a child-elemental. You might be able to get away without CT_RaidAssist on Garr, but Garr is so f'ing tough anyways, if you can't do 1 or 2, 3 is a presupposition.

4) Gehannas. Great, another AE Curser. Good luck de-cursing people not in your group. Being slow on it could mean death to them.

5) Baron. You should install a CQBaron mod for this one. At least 5 people in the raid should. If you think you guys are too good for it, you probably are, since this basically is insurance that you have no noobs on your raid. Unfortunately, every raid I've been on has needed it for sure, and we've cleared MC. So... up to you to decide.

6) Shazzrah. He used to be doable without RaidAssist.. now.. LOL. Post-patch this guy blinks freaking EVERYWHERE, AE curses the entire raid, then starts AE'ing people. If you don't cure the curse immediately then the AEs does like 1500-3000 dmg. So good luck with that without RaidAssist.

7) Golemagg. You can do this as a druid if you are not assigned to be on MT healing rotation.

Sulfuron. You can do this without RaidAssist.

9) Majordomo. You can do this without RaidAssist.


Bottom line is, you're not gonna be able to get to the end of MC without RaidAssist. Done this with a Druid and Priest. And fyi, the Cenarion set is ass ugly. Hope you like green yellow and grey ugliness. P.S. Obviously this means mages need it too, since de-cursing is that vital.

Times that you would not be booted for trying to melee and/or wiping the raid:

1) Lava Surgers
2) Lava Annihilators

Being a mage---- I got CTraid... and in my opinion no one on raids like MC should be allowed in without it. FYI: Ive run MC for the past two weeks.

You probably haven't done a real Molten Core raid.

I told you in guild chat on how to fix your CT raid bars and you still whined and griped about it. All you do is click a box in general settings on Left side and move them where ever you want.

Pretty soon CT Raid mod will be mandatory for the guild. If you don't have it, you can't raid with guild in pvp/pve.

Killets - I was on a MC raid where Garr pwned us. Our warlocks were dying in 1 hit and can't banish. I know it's easy encounter if we can kill the adds one by one. Gehnneas was a toughie...took us 6 times to kill him. We killed him as the chamber was respawning LOL. The first 2 times the druid in main tank group wasn't decursing which is why we wiped. If you lose your main tank, you are fucked basically. 3rd time Warrior placed gehnneas in wrong spot and healers were constantly cursed. 4th time whole room respawned on us. 5th time the mages were so worried about decursing that they didn't do any DPS lol.
