Duo with a Minstrel.

Alright im debating playing some DAoC, the new classic ruleset server has my interest piqued. What would be a good class for me to dual box with a Minstrel. Was thinking a cleric or maybe a paladin, but wanted to see if there were any other good classes to duo with. Does the heretic have any decent healing, or would the added damage output make up for lesser healing in a duo situation?

Got a 25 heretic on Mord and I can't say enough good things about the class. As a rejuv spec. you get the best heals, and u get the insane damage spells. And teamed w/ a minstrel w/ a stun will drop any race/class by the time the stun wears off.

Awesome thanks for the feedback, thats what I was looking at and it does sound like a good duo on paper. Now just to decide if I want to start playing DAoC again. Playing with the ole gang again is mighty tempting, especially with the classic ruleset. I hated the ML thing. Big reason why I quit.

deathsight necro/minstrel for leveling imo.
