Good Leveling Trio

Ok what would be a good leveling trio. My main character is going to be a minstrel so that is pretty set. Would a DS Necro work for leveling with two other characters or is it best to just use that when your leveling as a duo? Im not sure what Nikolaos wants to play yet either but If there is something that will fit in nicely then I can always be a little persuasive on it.

if you go into catacombs with a necro you should be fine since they mow shit down.

I'm levelling a DS Necro/Enh Cleric duo.

1-5 SUCKS with the necro. You don't get the 'in combat' cast, or the necro quick cast, so basically you have to sit there while the necro beats down the mob with just its fists. My cleric bot was hitting the mob for the same amount with his training mace.

Now that I'm level 7 on both though, its pretty ridiculously fast.

1-5 took me about 2.5 hours.
5-7 took 40 minutes.

Minst Necro and Cleric is probably good. You can mezz the adds, and stun the mob that the pet is on so the Necro can get in a few extra Power taps.

DeathSsight necro with bot cleric + minst will work good

and if you think they are nuts like that wait till i get to 47 on mine and respec to servant

My wife and I are dou-ing with a Heretic and a Minstrel, respectively. We mow down all task dungeons atm. Basically no armor and even with my puny 3sec stun, all i need to do is "tank" the mobs for 5 seconds while she focus nukes them down. I have leveled a Minstrel to 49.8 on Guin with a bot to 42. This is definately faster.

As for BG's, should be pretty easy for us to cap out quickly there. My speed and stuns while she nukes will be good. There not Cleric buffs, I know....but hell, I'll take the bases just to keep me alive while she does her shit

Necro is still probably the fastest. But if your looking to just level two characters other than Necro/Cleric you may want to give this a shot.

I'm levelling necro/cleric atm.

At certain levels, its kinda crappy, due to the way the spells work, with your pet being a percentage of your level.

6-10 went really fast, and I mowed through everything, but at 11, my pet is a few levels below me now, and the task dungeons are giving us orange con mobs.

My armor is all yellow/orange con, but the only +stat stuff I have is from the trainer, and my focus staff is kinda low. No jewelery whatsoever.

Tonight, I'm going to focus on questing through L11, since my gear needs some improvement, and that should get me to L12 where I hope things improve.

Thanks for all the feedback. I basically want to play the minstrel as my end character but dont care what the bot character is. Im pretty sure Niko doesnt want to do a cleric so thats probably out. Team will probably be Minst/Necro with whatever she is playing or Minst/Heretic with whatever she is playing.

Then again Minst/Heretic/Pally sounds like a pretty tempting trio as well.

Knowing her she will want to play a Minstrel though so it may end up Minst/Minst/Heretic, not sure how that will work out as a trio though.
