It's never taken me more than 10 minutes even when it's full. Bring the server browser up and sort by server type so classics are at the top. Glue your eyes to the Lamorak count. As soon as it drops below 3500 which happens whenever someone logs off, quick click the server. If you miss it, do it all again. I've never had to do that more than 3 times.

depends on your comps speed if you are slow to log in server will be full before it goes through

Here is how you do it. Bring up the server list. Sort by users which will put the classics at the top.

Then bring up another login screen with your quick login char on the bottom line and your password already typed in dont do anything. Wait till the que gets to aroudn 3504 somewhere low in that range. Exit the server listing and then click the quick login char. Its all about timing.

As the server listing wont even let you try to connect until its below the limit. You sir by quick logging in are guessing there will be a spot. Should work but this method works for me.

They really need to do something about the a-holes who leave their toons logged 24/7 just to hold their spot.

It's a real crapshoot.

With my main PC, the whole waiting at the log in screen works well, since it loads Catacombs almost immediately.

On my second PC however, which is a laptop, it loads cata slower and I almost never got in using that, since anyone else doing the same thing loaded faster.

For that I just spam the random quick-login, kinda a pain, but it works.

It takes me no time to get in. Go to the server select screen, sort by type so lamorak and all are at the top. Click play even if its 3500+. Then just spam the spacebar as fast as you can. As soon as it drops below you are logging in. It usually only takes me 1 or 2 times doing this to get in.
