As someone who needs a gaming fix I can't help but wish that I could actually get back into WoW but it aint' going to happen. DAOC set the standard for PVP by choice with real objectives ... that's what WoW really needs.
WoW PVP servers should be wide open (much like DAOC) with cross horde-alliance guilds ... now that would be fun. Some real shit to fight for in the world itself rather than just honour rank B.S.
Also if there was a real endgame in WoW less people would complain about raid grind ... at least there would actually being a point to being decked out in purples other than serving epeen.
No hijack intended ... RF online just might be the only hype or hope for a good game till Warhammer.
