I believe that they are expanding the number of slots available on the character selection screen. My understanding is that they will have multiple pages of 8 slots each.

Took me quite a while, but I was able to guess/figure out the account information for all three of my daoc accounts

On another note, I think it would be interesting to see if they go ahead with an origins OF type of server after merging all active accounts onto this new server and eliminate the problem that clustering caused in the first place.
If they do make a second server with OF and a restructured version of the original game, I could see myself potentially reactivating. As of now though, I see no real reason to come back for NF on a ToA server. Now, if everyone tries it and it seems to be awesome, then maybe, but someone else is going to have to jump in before I randomly throw money at mythic again.
