Anyone playing? Chrissy and I have been since the North American launch. Its grindy but its lots of fun. The trick is to get in a good clan. Well we've got a good clan and we are recruiting.

I know the game was plagued by an awful European launch but it's actually really fun. I'm enjoying it because its new and different in so many ways. Tired of these damn WoW clones.

This is pretty suprising. A good hardcore pvp oriented MMO comes out and Adida and I are the only ones from BWC playing. Ting this game is right up your alley. Although I guess your hardcore MMO days have slowed since you added one to the family.

Yea it seems a lot of people wrote this game off due to the problems in beta. I never saw beta but I have to assume its come a looong way since then.

actually, i'm playing, but i'm about ready to quit.

it's a tad grindy, like all you really do, is harvest all day, lumber and ore, then go do your guilds bloodwall, and just beat on the afkers to skill up.

it's a game very riddled with speed hacks and macros.

and it gets old quick.

Heheh a tad grindy? That's putting it lightly. Have you gotten into any of the pvp? What do you think of the pve? What guild are you in?

the PvE is weak, all you do is parry while everyone just zerg it.

or if your solo.. Arrows > all.

the PvP is also weak, it seems all the PvP is about griefing players, or jumping in other players cities (knockback jump over wall tactic), and kill all the afkers on the blood wall.

i'm in or was in the Neccessary Evil Guild. We owned 2 cities just east of the orc start city, sweetwater and spiderfang.

I've had some good PvP fights so far. We are in DIE guild on Yssam and we are allied with every other guild on the continent. It's a blast when enemy guilds try to come on the island. Every time a group of reds are spotted we form up and chase them off the island. When we raid the mainland, usually the first city we attack is like you say, killing naked people. But once word gets out that we are raiding, the enemy guilds form up to try and take us out. That's where the fun begins. I really enjoy playing a game where you stand to lose a lot from dying. Between my battlehorn and my full banded suit and my rank 50 weapons, its gunna really suck when I get ganked and lose it all. But that drive to stay alive is what makes the PvP so much more exciting for me.

That said, the grind really does start to get old. Leveling magic is a major bitch. I've burned through countless reagants trying to get to 50 greater magic. So painful.
