Version 1.99 went live. They are merging all the TOA servers to one cluster:

I'm gunna probably start playing again. Time to rock the Thane!

EDIT: Apparently you can transfer classic toons as well. I heard something like you get a token for CL5 and ML5

A very high population server would be alot of fun, they should have done this a long long time ago.
50 spiritmaster, 50 shaman, 50 shaman, 50 bard, 50 druid, 50 chanter, 50 necro, 50 minstrel, 50 healer, 50 runemaster, 60 hunter, 60 warrior, 60 druid and 60 paladin

I wonder what the numbers are, the vn board has been popular. Herald doesn't have numbers, but it looks just like 1-2k total for the original servers.

I was playing for a while back in July. I really miss DAOC! When you make a new toon they start you out on a Tutorial Island made of all kinds of DAOC shit. For noobs its kinda fun. I found it annoying and looked for the portal ASAP to go task dungeon.

Be sure and put your colors back in 256 color mode
