There's one thing I really want to do: [glow=red]Maximum Carnage![/glow]

Did you guys read that post about the warrior doing over 1.7 with fury and cleave? Yeesh. Anyone happen to know what kind of damage a mage is capable of at 55+?

I'm assuming you are referring to the Warrior that took a video of him doing insane damage to level 56-58 Blackrock Orcs with Slam, Fury Talents (Bloodrage or whatever it's called, and Flurry), with Cleave thrown in for the AE effect? I'm not positive, but I believe that Fury stacking will be nerf'd somehow (if it already hasn't). It's my personal opinion that Blizzard is doing a good thing by trying to break the typical "You are Warrior, you do shitty damage but hold aggro" role in MMO's; however, I don't think they are going about the Beserker Stance in the proper way. It's my opinion that if a Warrior is going to use Beserker stance, then they should be limited to mail armor, have a defense reduction of 10-20%, and lose 10% of their total hps, in exchange they would do something like 10-15% less DPS than a Rogue or a Mage, and could NOT switch out of Beserker Stance while in combat. This gives them more AF than a Rogue, more HPs than a Rogue, and just a bit less damage than a Rogue, something like a warrior/dps class hybrid (think beserker or savage in DAoC). That's just a personal opinion however, my Warrior is only level 25 but I personally like defensive stance while PvEing. Not just because I know I'm going to hold aggro (although that is nice) but because there is always something beneficial you can do to a mob while in defensive stance, be it Sunder Armor, Disarm, or Shield bash (if they are casters) and of course Taunt...

It was nurfed within 24 hours of that video hitting the beta boards... with a big thank you for bringing it to their attention...

I always knew the Warlock would be a great class if they ever upped it's offensive capabilities... man what a beautiful class that turned out to be.. massive utility with a ton of offensive tricks and damn good dmg. IMO they need to bring back a small amount of utility to the mage and I'd call both classes more or less ready to go.

Personally I'm most likely sticking with Hybrid/support.. the shaman is an unbelievable mixture of nuking/melee/healing/buffing. In fact I can't think of any class from any game that does it as well in a balanced manner as the Shaman. I started out playing around w/ a Dwarf pally during my brief time in the Stress Test, think i got to level 16... ugh.. they couldn't pay me to play that broken ass pos design. They mite be tough to take down in pvp, but they completely blow for anything else. (pve)

level 13 Dwarf Mage
level 11 Dwarf priest
level 10 Troll Shaman...

Yup, played around the last day of the stress test with a Troll shaman and loved every minute of it.... Come retail...>>> FOR THE HORDE!!!

For those not in the beta atm, check out this site to mess around with a good Talent Tree Calc.. to get upto speed on the classes you mite want to go with..
