^^i felt the same way about DaoC after playing since freaking beta. Stoped playing little after christmas and have rarely been happier with the choice, altho i miss some of the good moments so experience during that lifespan of gaming.

You guys probally know my playstyle by now I'm sure... Hardcore and Play to Win!
I got bored with EQ2 3-4 months after release, But then again I had every uber item and was the richest on the server. (yea yea epeen +5 and all of that I know)
I was SUPER happy with my run. I explored all, Crafted, and got to meet the entire najena community as a crafter. I really enjoyed meeting new people and new guilds in any new MMO. I figured I had enough money to comeback on an expansion; buy whatever gear I needed and crafted the next "New Tier" of items to get rich again then get bored till next expansion.
I came back and noticed the people I played with from release also took a break and got bored like I did. But they will be back no doubt in the expansion when PvP is realeased and level cap is raised from 50 to 60 for both crafting and adventuring.
I see how people can get bored going on the same raids over and over just to get their "Special Item" The Way I see once is enough for me. They make content and expansions I will continue to play years down the road.
The only thing I noticed is a casual gamer will never ever experiance a Top raiding guild and to me that the best part about EQ2.
Pve is nice if done in small doses, If your going to Pve for fun in any game might as well do it in EQ2, you know it;s done right the first time.
