i read the first 3 paragraphs.. then my ADD kicked in and put me right to sleep.
This is the thing i always hated... ok thanes complain... skalds complain.. all sorts of classes complain, and get adjustment /fix boost.
but yet.. the only class that does need speacial treatment..never get its.. yes i'm talking about your fellow class the Warrior.
the warrior is out damaged by hero and armsman.. the warrior has no speaical advance weapons... or even some sort of moose that can weild a huge spear.
No one relaly fears us.. heck we can get beat up by scouts (slam, then 2x crit in the face)
we supply nothing to a group.. if you had to pick between having a 50 warrior in your group for rvr.. or a 47 skald.. which one would you grab? yup.. thats right.. the skald.
if you had to pick a 50 thane or a 50 warrior for your RvR group...which would you pick? yup the thane.
if it was a toss up between warrior and zerk.. do i reallly have to say?
the warrior is the one class n the game that has no.. not one... class defineing skill/trait.. sure we have the best looking epic.. which has no thurst resist.
sure we can Tank a level 70 mob alone.. but what can we do in RvR.. hold a ram =(

I would MUCH rather have a warrior in group than a thane.

That is the least of your worries these days. Cave Shammies make Hib/Alb mezz proof already 
and are much more predominately played. Always AE stun in the current times~
