When did this happen?
She was with me all night in my group and deguilding for other guilds to claim.
Is that why, or did she finally do it today?

Couldn't tell you Super. I put up the new Chode Warrior post aprox. 7:30am our time and she was gone. I caught it as she usually is at the top of our scoring. I sent an email to her asking what's up. She is not a regular forum visitor so figured it would be quicker then PM.

Personally I think there is a huge difference in being in a guild and just being tagged.
Emjay is nice but for the most part she groups with other guild on a regular basis.
Its probably just a keep taking issue as to why she wasnt tagged at the time of your post, but I do think that as a whole we need to set some general standards for being in the guild.
I can log in every day and be as active as anyone could possibly be, but if I group with others way more then I contribute to my guild am I really contributing?
My two coppers.

We agree Rhia.
The Den of Gimps is what the 25 of us core members use to keep that difference. You'll notice our beta boards and such will only be accessable to DoG. The core choses the direction of the guild and lands us into new games and tag other etc. Also everyone here has "offeesor abilitee." We tend to be more organic as a group then rule driven.

Rhiandra I understand your point perfectly. And largely agree.
The tough thing though is not everyone is always in the mood for the same thing. Some people like running in solo group gank squads, I think Emjay is in that category, I know most of <F> is, and sometimes I am. Sometimes I'm not in the mood to be doing big strategic things like keep taking or waiting for a ram merchant to pop, or waiting for the albs to eventually arrive. Most of the time I love that stuff but sometimes I want to just gank.
So when I only have an hour to play before I have to get the kids in the bath and I just want to roam and gank rather than following a keep force around, is that ok? And if it is ok for me under those circumstances, where do we draw the line where it is not OK?
Back to Emjay - I group with her often enough that I think she's a super one to have in the guild. Yah, she groups with Lords of Fate a ton, but she also groups guildies when they have an open spot. Most importantly about Emjay - She actually plays! This guild has like 72 active members or something like that. How many do you see out RVRing on a regular basis? How many break 20k rp's per week? Not nearly enough! How many people take the time to level to 50 and then walk away after only 50k rp's? More than 1/2 the guild. What do you do about that? Heck if I know, but I just wish we could muster more than 1.5 groups during peak hours. I wish everyone was as hardcore about RVR as most of the DoG is.

Had the pleasure of running around with her the other night, good person. She plays a lot so expect her to have a lot of non-guild friends ... also earning the RP she does you can't expect her to always be in guild groups.
Cut her some slack.

This is my point exactly. BWC is not the priority, and when you are out doing the same things that your guild (who happens to be skaldless) is doing, thats when I stop and say "Hmmmmmm".
Cut her some slack? I've cut massive slack in the Emjay situation, and Im sorry, I could give a fat rats ass if she gets 1mil RPs a week, if she isnt doing her part as a guild member there is a problem, period.
I also must wonder to myself if this situation would be handled differently if she wasnt an RP earner, my guess is yes.
If all we are concerned with in this case is padding the overall numbers, lets just call it as it is and be done with it. But please, lets not start bullshitting each other that this behavior would be tolerated by a non producing player.
This isnt a witch hunt people, its called treating members fairly across the board.

If I was starting a new guild, and could only take 10 members from BWC along - Emjay would be one of the ten. Not because she pads our stats, but because she actually plays.
It sounds as if you would rather have a person that plays 1 hour a week and always groups with guildies than a person that plays 50 hours a week and groups with guildies 40% of the time (20 hours). I disagree.
I group with her plenty. But I don't see her zerg alot. Thats my point, she isn't into zerging. And at least she actually RVR's.....

I was the one that added her back to the guild at her request. She was helping a guild claim then I added her back.

was she at the RK with us tonight? right before we left her group, as usual, ran off and got wiped, leaving us with 15% less mids than we had before, in such small scale relic raids loosing 1 fg right off the bat really hurts. i dont care if she likes to solo, if she comes on relic raids she must control her group, they cant go anywhere without her. the next time she tells me she is thinking about leaving, ill show her the door rather than talk her down.

Please do Amit for anyone. The one thing we don't want is to have people that want to stop hanging with us.
