How many of the original People are still gonna play PS

How many of you lovable peeps are gonna play in PS after seeing screenshot and playing beta?

I know i was brought a little down after i played beta but im still in. I think its a great game and great concept. Just a little slow. But guessing it will be 300X better because there is gonna be about 50X the people on each server

Not me. It wasn't my thing. I've played better shooters that don't charge a monthly fee.

I tried getting into the beta, but i don't have enough RAM yet. And since i have some bills to get out of the way first, and because DAOC still works on my existing PC, i'll wait to play PS. However once I get the RAM and prob a new VID card (why not, while I'm at it), i'll probably play it. I would like to see it. I was a big fan of tribes2. But it better be good, i agree with Joshll! It better be really good for me to pay for a FPS monthly.

i'll pick up the game..but chances of paying for it in a dedicated way are slim, whats the monthly fee? if it's 5 bucks or something, i'll be down, but not the normaly 13 like daoc

I'm not playing it. It was kinda fun, but I don't see what makes it so great over a normal FPS, that I don't pay monthly for. Most of my fun was because it was with the guild, not because of the game itself. The game itself is more repatative than xp in DAoC to me, and taking a base in PS has less impact than taking a fort from a realm that has no relics. To top it off, the week before beta they reduce how much xp you get, and when faced with 95% of the beta testers saying how much they hated it, they reduced it even further on go live. Ehh, no thanks. BR (levels) don't mean as much there, but they seriously should have done a system where getting to BR10 was easy, and BR11-20 hard. The game was fine the way it was before last monday, and every change they made then made NO sense, unless you look at it from a "if it takes longer to cap out, they will play longer" standpoint.

About the xp.....the 2nd last nite of beta, they increased the xp. I was getting 2k against a med size defense when we caped a base and got 3800 in one of the hardest fought battle for a base. For resucing a base against a small force i ended up with 1.8k.

I don't know if they kept this new system when they went live. Anyway i won't be playing since i'll be working in middle east this summer.
