I presented this idea to celestial, and she said I should post it here for everyone to give input and see what we come up with.
So here goes:
The way to take relics is to keep albs occupied while we do so. How can we accomplish this? We need a distraction. What my distraction idea is:
6-8 FG's of Mids camp the road and the flanks to Castle Sauvage. 3 FG's of Mids camp the Snowdonia border exit.
These groups come with Trebs, and are ready to lay down one hell of a battle.
Once these groups are in place the 4FG's of mids that are all equipped with 2 rams ea, 1 skald, and END 4/5 min are moved from Penine/Sauvage border to Excalibur.
We hit the RK hard, and our blockades hold the line. The blockade doesn't even need to be successful, they simply need to buy the Relic takers 10 minutes of time to clear the relics out.
Once the relics are out we perma sprint them to MPK, the groups at the border forts suicide once the relics are in Midgard, and EVERYONE escorts the relics home.
This plan cannot fail. Simply put, unless Albs are camped inside the RK we will succeed. Whether or not they know there is an attempt doesn't matter. We move in fast, set up positions, and lightning fast execute the raid.
No details left out: I'm talking down to who is dropping a ram on what door. Organized groups, all balanced, and all ready to take what is rightfully ours.
If I have left soomething out - please add ideas, and lets cultivate a plan that will reward us with all 6 relics again.

Thats about 10 FG. 2 Days before we get first door down with 2.5 FG. I never attended a successful RK raid but I think with 10 FG you just rush in.

Sounds good. Amit had tried a ninja RR and we might have been able to pull it off if we had another fg with us or a couple more supp SMs.
The one thing about that ninja raid was that there was maybe a handful of albs actually inside the RK and I dont' think any were on the way out. What it proved though, was that 7 supp sms aren't enough to maintain a siege with only 2 keeps taken. We had tingtong and 2 other randoms. Simply put, those master wizzies with their super quick dd's will tear down people left right center. We had hurb and rens but we didn't have the numbers to actually kill the wizzies and maintain a siege.
4fg is not enough with the uber guards numbers as they are now.
I would think that we need 12-14 supp SMs + healers/shamans/bubble, enough RMs and SBs to kill master wizzies and archers, and a full compliment of rammers.
Now if only there weren't albs already inside the RK when we port over...

There lies the problem.
I love this plan Drem. I suggested something like the Treb thing a few days back. But 10-12 full groups means spies will find out. I'm not even sure we can get 10-12 full groups without a realm wide broadcast.
With the albs respawning at Sauvage & slightly outnumbering mids, I don't think we can hold them too long in a full frontal power assault. We have to cover a wide entrance. If they bunch up and go out one side hugging the zone wall it would be tough to stop them.
I tell you what though, I would love to try it. Relic or no relic. I think it sounds like great fun.

I think success is keeping Myth's group separate from our alliance groups that do the RK raid
Also other part of success is having Super run our alliance hoarde since people actually listen to him.
1. Myth takes bold/hurb to take out wizards - split in two and try to time falling of bold/hurb (need to confirm these are the two wizard keeps).
2. Bold/hurb fall our alliance groups (sitting near Excal) hit RK with SB seige team asap.
- ideally SB seige team is all BWC
3. Most of Myth proceeds to FS to block albs - at least 1-2 groups roam to gank people approaching to enter.
I think the above would work - should be easy for Myth to fulfill their part of the bargain.
Also I think we should wait till the RESPEC PATCH comes in since there are a lot of healers that will be respec'ing for 30 mend at least for heal neediest.

my idea which we were gonna try on palo but never have enough hibs to try it is we would need atleast 2 -3 grps to attack each fort that would eliminate the wizzys. These attacks would need to be done at the same time and would require that both doors get rammed with a min of 2-3 rams per door to make it happen quick. The rest of the mid force would camp near rk and once the 2 forts are down the rk would be attacked with the grps that attacked the other keeps meeting us at rk. Once there we need at least 1-2 grps per side door to stop people from entering. Have 1-2 grps assigned to ram doors and the rest of the grps to kill guards as they pop. The side doors are key and at the last relic raid once again there was no one watching the left door. The guards seem to be causing us the most problems at the last few attempts. We may need to take a few more forts at the same time prior to moving to relic keep but it jus needs to happen super fast. last time we tried we had over 100 mids so getting the grps should be possible. THe bigest thing is doing a try run at attacking a few forts at the same time and see what the albs response time is.

The problem with the guards on the relic raids I've been on have been because people are stupid. They stand down the hill and fight rather than drag the guards to the door like everyone is screaming in all caps to do.
We did do that once on hib palo, kinda. We dropped 5 alb forts within 5 mins of each other, but there were already 80 waiting for us at the relic. The second they dropped our NS's saw them loggin in at the fort

Ninja Raid (like how albs been hitting us.. avoiding guards.. taking no keeps) hell do it when albs have DF too.
i like the pbae SM stacking guards all on doors.. always works the best.. i hate when i see ppl on the hillside.. can't do anything but watch them die for being stupid.
