anyone getting a launchpad problem?

did it keep telling ur client version does not match server version
pls log out and repatch?
if so only way is to uninstall and reinstall..

No WC, I get this message "launchpad.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"

than it gives me the option of sending a report to MS

"please tell microsoft about this problem" and I have a option of sending it.

I tried re-installing the game from the 3 discs and I get the same message-last time I played was last night.

any ideas?

try calling their tech?

not until monday, their closed. guess no ps for me till after the weekend

do a virus scan?
and also use norton disk doctor
and norton win/system check/repair

Winke I"m getting the exact same problem, but on SWG which uses the same launcher. I just wiped my system and reinstalled window and after that the PS launcher seems to work ok but I get that same message when I try and load SWG... Let me know if ya find a solution

ya I fixed it, when I was un installing and than re-installing it never erases the launcher for some reason. So I erased the launcher after an un-intall and than re-installed and it works now.

Yeah that last launcher patch jacked my SWG start up. I have to literally copy launchpad.exe from another driver to the game drive and then it works. This I have to do every time.

I have to launch the game off the disk from the game, everytime. But at least it works.
