for +casting speed belt, farm Sons of Kreon as much as possible.

for +casting speed ring, farm terkari for level 0 scorp ring works.

for +casting speed bracer, get your shaman bots to do the wandering ones quest, and steal their fast cast bracer.

what I have now is is just my rough draft, I have to get what ever artifacts I need before I can finish I final sc setup. I just went to housing at level 42 and bought a bunch of stuff: Staff with 8% cast speed, pants with 8%, and Arms with 4%. All I needed to get cap was the sun scorched helm from seed pouch quest. some of my magic resists are in the teens, but that will hold me for the couple weeks it takes to get some real gear together.

i dunno about merlin. lance is a lot of fun.

if i played merlin, 2 things would need to happen...

1) lance would have to die badly. probably won't happen.. we just recruited a new bard, so rvr has been rejuvenated :) plus, as long as contre, dekz and zerx play there, i will never abandon friends.

2) a level 50 of a class i would like would have to go for sale for a low-reasonable price. i just have this problem of playing characters seriously that i don't own. i could play tav casually, but i'm more fun when i'm hardcore into farming/leading raids/forming rvr, etc.

As for farming/making money/where to get items... I have an insane amount of knowledge about this stuff now. Not really the higher end items, because those really just take a shitload of time doing crappy large scale raids, but pretty much any item that can feasibly be attained by a group of 8 or smaller I will know how to get if i don't have already.

As for in game money... I'm pretty much set. But because I am a greedy SOB, I will continue to do my best to make money and find the best possible deals for my guild. I sustain myself off scroll arbitrage, aka memorizing the market value of all scrolls at all times. when i login, i usually spend 30 min at the housing merchant checking to see what scrolls are being sold at below market value, buy them, then resell them at or above market value. to account for market fluctuations, I rarely purchase a scroll which I do not believe I can make a 200% return on.

I shop around outside of housing as well, as people who generally can't afford to put up a Consignment Merchant are generally more eager to let things go for immediate gains.

The problem is I still can't get to the next level of lootwh0redom because I cannot play during the day, and I never make it to public raids. I also have a ridiculous aversion towards grinding xp, which is why none of my artifacts are past level 4, except healer's embrace, which just sorta happened. Its also why I am only ML1, because I can only lead groups of 8 effectively, and ML1 is pretty much the only ML I know how to complete with a group of 8. The uber uber items are almost never for sale (things like MLx.10 uber drops, dragon drops, etc), so no amount of in-game money would ever allow me to attain them. Thus I will forever be the king of the semi-uber stuff.

Anyways, not bad for 12 days /played. I am happy though about yesterday... I was able to barter for some dragon sleeves, which are beyond craftable for me. +24/24/24 stats +8% resist +heal proc. my first uber item :P
