EQ2 Review here: http://eq2.forums.thedruidsgrove.org/sh ... ge=1&pp=15

Funny extract from one of the posts:

THE WORLD OF EQ2 is a NANNY STATE.

A TYRANNY OF CAREBEARS.

EQ2 is like some designer pre-programed exactly what I am going to be able to do - he has already set my limits. The field of action in EQ2 is so narrow...which leads me to say:

I know the target audience for EQ2. Are you ready to hear it? It is: THE SIMS. Yes, you heard me right, EQ2 is THE SIMS ONLINE with swords and magic.

EQ2 is a GLORIFIED AOL CHATROOM with RPG MONEYSINK AVATARS.

Ever wish you could go into yahoo chat, with a level 14 barbarian shaman? Well, here is your chance! The developers were counting that people are stupid mindless cows that would have fun decorating their houses...having parties in their house (oh gee, yay)...decorating their house...don't you see where they are going? The visionaries at EQ2 saw big money in an extremely dumbed down, watered down world, where you have no control over what you want to do, everything is pre-determined, and you are just a SIMS ONLINE character with wands and swords. EQ2 made CAREBEAR RPG CHAT D&D

im really enjoying reading this guys reviews. I HATE games where each new spell is just an upgrade of an older one. That was one thing EQ pulled off amazingly and was hoping to see in EQ2. It makes me wanna cry that they fucked that up >.<
