Druids?

Postby Keabit Guinness » Mon Mar 21, 2005 11:03 pm

Are there too many? When i created mine, I was speaking to Hall, and he said there aren't many in BWC. I figured it would be good to have a secondary healer type.

Thoughts?

I have never been an enthusiast of the more obscure holidays like “Groundhog Day.” This type of holiday made more sense long ago when Doppler radar was not available and faith in groundhogs was stronger.

 For awhile Kandar and I were teh only ones, now we have a decent number. Although w/ Mark of the Wild i don't think you can have to many Drd's. W/ the recent fixes I see many druids being rolled in the future.

There's not really that many, I just said that because for awhile I was the only druid that logged in so it was kind of nice :P. Now Elf is back and few others so now I gotta worry about getting my uber druid loot jacked :(.

Really doesn't matter though as long as you're having fun, then by all means.

The only problem I have right now with Druids is that most of the high level content is based on raids. When you fill slots for raids you always try to find the "core" classes like say warrior/priest/mage. Though Druids are able to fill parts of those roles, in Raids where there are often multiple of these, you need the classes that is most efficient in what it does. Warrior is the best tank, priest is the best healer, and mage is thought to be the best dps for the most part. So because we don't really have any skills that make us stand out in any one area, sometimes you aren't able to contribute as much as the "core" classes would be able to in places such as Onyxia's lair or MC. I think Druids will find a reserved slot for them along with the "core" classes once the BG's come out though
