Molten Core and BWC
To be honest, it's time we start doing some of these epic instances. I would love to lead a raid on MC with BWC only.
But to do that, we need people willing to go as well as people willing to support it.
If possible, can we get a headcount on who would be interested and what their availability is on Friday/Saturday/Sunday? This would probably start out as a weekend raid unless weekdays are better.
The more BWC people we have, the more experience we get as a guild working together. Also, the more BWC, the more BWC members get loot.
The thing is, we need people willing to commit. Without people committing, we'll be fighting for people to come and frustration will occur and the raid won't get off the ground.
For these raids to really work, we'll need teamspeak/ventrillo and ctraid (http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?addid=694). Highly recommended mods are whispercast and decursive (for priests and mages as curses/magic are HUGE in MC).
So please, post here if you're willing to commit to come to MC. If we can get enough people, we'll start running our own raids. If we're short, maybe we can talk to Resonance.
Thanks.
Btw, Sunder is running a raid this friday May 13th at 7pm est. If you can make it, please come to get some experience in a decently experienced group. The more experience we have, the better we will do.

Lots of views but no replies.
If I said that we'd do MC on Saturday at 3-5pm eastern, who would be willing to commit?
And if you're willing to go on any day, please post a schedule. I can't get this to work without help from you guys.
There was a lot of interest last night in guild chat but I really need a headcount on here.
Pleae post!

MC is normally done over the course of several days (it is that hard, mainly just getting 40 people there and organized). My odd Japanese hours prevent me from helping during the week (really I am available Friday morning-Saturday evening (early Sunday morning) y'all's time. I also highly recommend EVERYONE read the walkthrough posted by Conquest at their website (I found their discussion on random secondary target (RST) system interesting because it is different than most MMORPGs):
http://conquest.teamgbu.com/strats/moltencore/Map2.php
I found a separate walkthrough for Onyxia at (Onyxia seems much more manageable time wise, the quest to get the key is the hardest part (I also think EVERYONE considering doing Onyxia should read the Onyxia Bible - it even gives links to helpful UI mods (such as a warning 5 secs before she breathes death upon you))):
http://pacifistguild.org/onyxia/
http://worldofwarcraft.gameamp.com/game ... ap/114.php
They seem to make it seem fairly straightforward, but putting these plans into practice takes some coordination (and heavy UI mod use, even though we already know there are lots of people opposed to UI mod implementation (personally, I don't care if you want to or not, just don't ask to come on the MC raids if you aren't willing to take the time to do something to help everyone else out - outside MC and Onyxia, I'll still group with you, but the epic dungeons are worse than 5-manning Scholo with several blind 6-year olds like Rhuac, Winke and I were grouped with last weekend).

Onyxia isn't hard once everyone has experience doing it. Once people know what they should do in her different phases and how to avoid things like Deep Breath, it's actually quite doable.
For us, MC would only be on a single day for a few weeks until we A. get Tranq Shots, B. get experience and C. Get past Magmadar. We can do Lucifron and Magmadar in say 3 hours once we get everything down.

Went on a L A G Onyxia raid lastnight. Their first attempt as a guild to try Onyxia, and we took her down. All in all, she's really not that hard... Sure people in the guild will read the walkthrus but unless you have 40 guildies there you'll need to fully hash out what is going to happen in her 3 phases, and what everyone's roles are.
After going with Unholy Eclipse and failing several times, it's nice to know all you need is organization and people paying attention. Oh and minimal LD's plus a stable server always helps.
