:stupid: Once Battlegrounds forced them to face continual fights of at least near even numbers, their days were numbered. Now that it can be demonstrated that they lack any true pvp skills when not fighting 4:1 or grey-ganking, I'm not surprised they are leaving. I will miss that at least they would try, but hopefully it will restore some balance to the actual numbers disparity Horde:Alliance on this server. However, I am sure there will be plenty of people willing to fill in their vacancy in frustrating leveling toons.

We should buy their accounts.

There is no wait time on the alliance side, and most good players are on horde side, so we could have some good pvp.

Hehe

they say they own battlegrounds and only 1-2 guilds have ever given them a straight game.

We just can't agree on things can we? When I said it sucked you still loved it, and now that I think it's better, you hate it. =P

Then again, I don't currently feel any compulsion to be a general or hold rank. If I did, I'd hate it too. No life for teh high ranking!

well i personally know that the few times ive have seen them in av they got pwned back to their base and once lost it entirely. so i dont really buy their argument that they own BGs. and in those cases they had a large organized group s just PUGS of horde.

The BGs are okay, the honor system is what is terrible. Although I personally don't like the 40man that much, the ctf was okay. I would have rather had a 100 kill deathmatch map or something though :/

:stupid: I end up soloing in AV most of the time (better honor than raiding). Also, no one wants a priest in their group for some reason (just type /who Alterac and you will see just how many priests are in there compared to the number of shamans, warriors, hunters, mages, and rogues (and I see very few warlocks or druids)). I still had over 1K HK and 130 deathblows with only 58 deaths this weekend (love shadow spec). My biggest gripe is all the damn npcs running around. I died maybe 20 times to players and I don't know how many times to the rampaging Ram Riders who all run me down as soon as I heal anyone. I have even considered abandoning trying to heal when guards are around because of the agg code. Even the level 55 guards smack me around. I dump nearly an entire mana bar trying to kill them when they are on me. The guard chaining is supposed to be fixed next patch, but I would rather see the guard numbers cut to about a fourth and would rather have larger numbers of players allowed (keeping the raid cap at 40, but allowing more people to roam as groups). I would rather pvp be pvp and not pvpvnpc.

Also, I would rather the honor system have some lasting benefits (which was one of the really cool aspects of DAOC). Maybe when the hero classes come out we will see something, but I'm not holding my breath.

yeah healing is a deathwish in AV. i went there a few times and since everyone is smacking the other players first and npcs second, if you heal soemone you aggor ALL the npcs nearby and die real fast. i have also just stopped going to AV for that reason
