I just got catacombs, and getting ready for the new servers. Whats the fastest way to level?

Catacombs quests?
Catacombs instance tasks?
Something else?

Instance tasks.

They start at cotswold, in albion.

With catacombs, everything became more centralized in the game. SI entrance, DF entrance, and newbie leveling starts near the capitol cities. You can teleport to anywhere in the game through the capitol cities which is great to get anywhere. You don't need cash anymore to buy tickets etc to get to Border keeps for Battlegrounds, Frontiers, and even ToA.

Personally, I recommend if going to Albion, start with a necro and cleric bot through instance tasks, if duoing. If you add more than 2 to the Task Dungeon, the level of mobs become 3-4 levels higher than your character and you may have difficulties landing spells or hitting mobs. Instance tasks have a 50% bonus, which you recieve coin/xp for completing tasks. On my banshee solo, at level 49, 1 task completion equal out to .8-1.2 exp. If you plan to have an 8 man, I recommend going through adventure zones like in the classic dungeons like barrows, coruscating mines and collect aurellite (which is like Darkness Falls seals, which you can purchase items in Cata cities), and receive 120% instance exp for the group. Its like triple the camp bonus exp in normal xp areas.

Start out and test it on another server and get a character to level 10 and see how it is.

Do the Catacombs quests at they become available as well. Most of the quests have a level cap now, so you can't wait until like 49 to do them all (the Catacombs ones at least). They give awesome exp for almost no work, and typically a decent item reward.

Might want to be careful with the instanced tasks.

You get a very small amount of coin, and no drops from them, so if you are going to be playing on the first day, might try and steer clear of them. Might end up wearing green armor :)

do the starting quests RIGHT when u start out you get level 6ish MP armor and a weapon and a few jewelry items basically doing the quests gets you from 1-6 in 1hr or so. Very easy and good gear starting out.
