Works kind of like Darkness Falls seals and I think you give them to some guy in the capitols but not sure.

For Albion: I was in Incunno (spelling?) crypt in catacombs and their are trainers, for all classes, and merchants that take aurulite for purchases.
When you are in catacombs, look at your map and there will be a blue teleporter on map. Go to it and click on it and it will teleport you to Incunno Crypt. I had a quest to go there, so maybe it only does it, if you have quest (random one from NPCs at entrance of catacombs) but I doubt it - should take anyone.
My question: Where do you get aurulite?
