You would most likely win the lottery before you get DnL beta.

Overall the PvP system has a great design, but the game is very lackluster and needs a LOT of work. The Big World Engine and steaming content is ground breaking in itself but nothing I would really sink my teeth into yet.

good graphics are not the deciding factor in whether i play a game or not... hell i still play a MUD from time to time... what makes me play a game is an interesting and immersing virtual world and good gameplay mechanics. any game that has those two qualities is a winner in my book

yea but a cutting edge gfx engine sells copys. less you would liek to play with a MUD playerbase. which is 50 wacko guys playing DnD in the basement?

hey my MUD friends are cool! One of them wrote a database in C++ that keeps track of items and maps dungeons :P

i'm not saying graphics make a gam good..

hell i still LOVE and play UO all the time!

but if they are going for some indepth 3d world.. can they atleast make custom player models that actually have joints.. instead of using free lil 3d files you get off the internet?

the game has potencial there is an info dump momday hopefully. Has a great politcal system. Might be something interesting to look into.

Sounds interesting, especially the player control aspects of storyline and events which is where MMO's need to evolve in. To date I still think AC1 did the best job in terms of monthly content/event patches and world lore themes/events that players could participate in.

In the end I'm still waiting for a real gaming company to implement ShadowBane :P
