Everyone is complaining about having nothing to play but people still do not take advantage of free betas. Shit like that baffles me. Thanks man good looking out.
Although detractors decry (MMA) as a brutal, bloody form of human cockfighting, aficionados know it is a brutal, bloody, totally fucking awesome form of human cockfighting. -The Onion

Only played 4 hours today. It's very NWN like. It's not exactly a full MMO fix but it may be interesting enough for some to play for a bit or even as a part-time fix inbetween WoW sessions. Client is at least stable/bug free from what I can see in 4 hours ... at least it didn't crash like AO/SB
I can't say any one thing I actually like about the game just yet. It is quite simplistic. Like NWN but with multi-player built-in ... common area is Stormreach where you can form groups to do quests.
It's worth a look especially if you are a gamer at heart and like seeing different gaming implementations.
On a Turbine marketing strategy note making it a free trial at least let's them gauge who has interest in the game. I think management wants to know if it's a complete flop or not. I think the current money model is wrong on the game; i.e. buy then pay monthly fee. Perhaps this is a trial of making it free to install with monthly fees as ; verus the public message forum consensus of the reverse of this! ... (GW like model where you buy upfront then it's free)
Recurring revenue is always > upfront cash I think hehe.

ok downloaded it, gave it a try.
i actually didn't mind it much, i started a halfing rouge with DW. But then i thought to myself.. Why am i gonna bother playing this when i can just play Oblivion for free'er =)
I'm done with MMORPGs.. might play warhammer, only becuase it is mythic, which means it will be PvP.
Sort of felt dirty typing tha out, becuase i hate mythic, but damn. DAOC was just to damn good, even tho i hate it.. it is still the best thing out there. Warhammer has to be good.
