Can we get a count of who is going to play this game at release, late January.

If enough people are gonna try it maybe we can all do the same server.

I think I'll try it out of extreme boredom.

I started playing tonite. So far I'm not all that impressed. It seems like WoW gameplay in a world that looks like EQ2. I'm so tired of gaming companies making the same old MMO over and over again. I want something new damnit!

I think we all do.

DAOC imo was the best MMO. I'm worried for EA/Mythic in that Warhammer may be just too WoW like ... perhaps a DAOC2 would have been a better bet.

Your first MMO is always the best.

UO was and still is the best MMO i have ever played (in terms of skill gain system).

DAOC is still the best from a PvP end game standpoint.

DAOC would have just been a mistake. It would have been what DAOC 1 should have been. Balanced. it's best just to get a totally new title instead of trying a spinoff.

Actually first was AC1. It was a great introductory MMO but I prefer DAOC and RVR was the trump card.

UO - heard a lot about it and wish I had tried it back in it's day.
Shadowbane - couldn't get past horse shit graphics or bugginess in first month.
AO - bug ridden client = no fun.
EQ2 - just didn't like it.
EQ1 - never played it hehe.
WoW - fun for a few months but continually raiding the same crap is boring and PVP sucks.

Your right Bulor, DAOC2 may not work.

How about a wild west MMO ? :)

actually there is a MMo with pvp in it downin the road which is "Pirates of the something" i forget. Signed up for beta over a year ago. But yea you get to be a pirate and siege other ships and shit. Tell me that wouldn't be fun!
