I have been debating trying this. As I have pretty much done all I needed to do in wow sans hitting 2400+ Arena rating, I stopped at 2100 in season 2 and got bored.

Done T6, got bored

WH has alot of work to do before it becomes fun.

Keep me posted on this game,.

That AOC Blog has gotten a lot of hits, but I think it's still too early to pass judgement on what "end game" will be before a games release.

If anything MMO gaming is taught me is "end game" can be changed radically.

I probably will not choose a pvp server for the simple fact that there are area's designated for "PvP"

I consider myself a pretty hardcore PvP player however, without a PvP system I find FFA servers to be generally against what I consider competitive PvP. People with ego's and big guilds generally try to dominate these types of servers and 3 things generally happen, 1. A Zerg Guild Wins. 2. The people who can't compete leave the server 3. FFA encourages picking on the weak or people PVE who do not which to engage in PvP combat.

I know there is a huge PK system following to gank anyone anywhere. I've even talked to lot of people who thingk L2 was the best game ever for PvP. It's what asian PvP is all about. I have yet see that type of system become successful. (barring maybe UO, but lets face it, UO guilds are a thing of the past.)

Edit- There is one type of FFA PvP i WILL engage in...

Drunken Brawling
You will proceed to one of the designated taverns, get drunk out of your mind, and take wild, drunken swings at friends and foes alike.

I'm going to try and get into beta for this game when I get my new comp, hopefully within the next 2 weeks.

I've also talked to Winke about this game and he seems mildly interested as well.
