Yeah, I just prebought AoC, just let me know what server you guys are on, my friends and my brother are going to prebuy it also, I'll end up as a Barb or a Conqueror I think. Leaning towards a barb if we have tanks in abundance. We want to do a PvP server, since I think that's where the most action will be, but I'm sure I can talk them into PvE if the guild decides PvE.

I pre bought it too. And ordered 2 new computers along with it. I think I might be too carebear for FFA. I am not much for 12 year olds killing me with 10 HPs on a mob and thinking he is cool.

I really want to try this out to see if its even playable on my computer without spending 50 to find out it does not run well.
If all things work out, I will be playing support A Dark Templar or the Priest.

I got a war mammoth with my prepaid card... it said slow mount, this saddens me, but whatever. Barb or Conqueror, just looking at the trees, I have no fucking clue which to pick ><

Just pre-ordered AOC I dunno what I'm going to do yet, mythic sure did throw the monkey wrench in my plans now.

quick question about Barbs and Conquerors, are 2handers definitively better than DW? Most of the videos I see with both classes feature 2handers over the class DWing, although, the ones that I do see them DWing they seem to be doing fine.

From what I've seen 2-handed weapons offer more Stunning abilities/CC, while duel wielding offers more dps. So for PvP I would think you would want a 2 hander...especially with barbs, they get alot of nice stunning chains with 2 handers.
Check out the feat trees and abilitis of both classes to get a better feel for what weapon style you'd like. I posted a link to some sites with both somewhere...
