Man I'm having a tough time choosing a race for my Tempest.

I'm assuming Cimmerian is going to be something like the highlander/firbolg/troll as far as highest str/stam is concerned, but I don't know how much of a difference each race will have considering they are all humans.
Interesting. I will say from what I remember of beta there was no visible different stats for each race. The body types were vastly different but there was no +/- for different attributes.
I will say though the character creation is amazing, I spent an hour on two differnt toons just creating a character, there's that much variation.

This is exactly what I was hoping for. I think this is the best approach honestly, because then people can play a race they enjoy (assuming it's viable for the class they want to play) rather than have to pick the perfect race for the class. I liked all the theorycrafting and whatnot that was out and about considering starting stats and whatnot, especially in DAoC, but I am quite greatful that I won't have to make something that just seems retarded ala Shar Ranger.
