We are starting an IRC channel for the server, in order to hopefully facilitate better communication on the WvW scene on our server, since it seems like most of what's going on is a bunch of small guilds doing their own thing. The server is irc.gamesurge.net and the channel is #gw2gom.

Zera, have some of your guys (probably the older ones that actually know wtf IRC is) idle in the channel and pass it on to anyone you know that's not in your guild. We want make this sort of a platform from which to judge the merits of a devoted website with forums for the server, as well as the possibility for an investment in a large vent/ts/something server for the wvw populace.

Anyone that's on GoM and that wants to WvW should at least idle in the channel in order to make the self fulfilling prophecy of the more you have the more you get to stay come to fruition, also pass the word along.

There has also been a large (500 person) Teamspeak server set up for WvW for our server. If you want to know the info/pass either message me on IRC or in game.

Jim hopped on my guilds vent yesterday and informed me of this and a few other things regarding plans for a server alliance. Jim has the vent info, get it from him and hop in so we can try start raping face together!

I was in there today. How many people can the vent channel hold?

either 50 or 100. I'm betting on 50.
