programs to run to speed up comp?
seems my comp has been getting a little slower, Ie crashes or loads slow sometimes. And i have about a billion problems with daoc with dual logging like getting error.dll when in loading screen, random crashes, and freezing on in zone ports. Im guessing i might need a new vid card even though i run lowest graphic settings and windowed mode and had no problems like 8-10 months ago I have a p4 2.4ghz, 1gig ram, windows exp and g4 ti4200 card so specs arent too bad.

Getting slower sounds like you may have some background crap running that could be removed. I notice latest MSN causes spurious IE crashes for me - wasn't happening before I upgraded to 6.0.
Try defragging the drive first, uninstall programs you don't use (the ones that run background tasks), checkout your startup tasks and remove uncessary ones.
Also if your running XP there are some good websites for tuning - disabling services, TCP/IP tuning etc.

Viruses
Spyware
Test your RAM, memtest86 (google it) is a good utility (some could be bad now, i've had that happen)
Update Drivers
If nothing helps, backup your stuff and reformat ... d/l the drivers you will need off the web. If you're running xp, the default drivers will do you alright until you can get better.

im still having that damn popup problem where hella shit pops up, either my IE windows (x10-100) or a search window pops up (x2-15) shit needs to get fixed, i reformated n im still havin this fucking problem
