K, this is the story. We where fighting 8v8 with MCoC in Odins, at first we had the upper hand killing 2 people on aens, then there tanks engaged our tanks and our tanks didn't go after there Cleric (i was on both friars the majority of the fight) and we then lost, Aens got mad and told people dont engage there tanks blah blah blah u know, the typical story after u lose a 8v8. People where maken excuses about why they couldn't so aens got mad and left group. I then proceded to ask him what his problem was 2day, and he said he was tired of n00bs. I was like, ok i understand, but dont make the rest of the group suffer, ur are only healer. We'll earlier in emain i got seperated from the group so he was like what ever mr super lost guy, and i was like wha ever, i engaged the healers. He then said Friars arn't healers and i was like WTF are they then. Then we exchanged some comments and he said "what ever, it was a big mistake letting u Denied people into BWC, ur not close to our level" so i said fuck it and then said in /gu we'll its been fun bla bla bla but us Denied people arn't uber enough to be in bwc so im told. But not saying his name cause i didn't want anything to happen, he then admited saying it and alot of people said bull shit bla bla bla, we fought for a lil more in /gu then joshll ended it by saying he likes me and i was fine and some other coo stuff, Aens then said what ever and left, then procedded to leave the guild with his characters....

I thought aens was a god for a long time now, and i thought we where good friends after all the battles we where in, im sorry to u aens if i did anything to piss u of, i have respect for u as a player and liked u as a person. But remember, i wasn't the only tank in the group, i was acutally engaged on some healing classes(even if they whern't the main one). Im sorry, i hope u can get over this, i honestly was shocked cause of all the battles we have been in, maybe u had some emotional problems or somthing, get it out here, dont just leave like that outta pure anger, agian im sorry. and if the only way u will rejoin bwc is by us Denied people leaving, i think we all will, ur more valuble to them then we are, uve been here way longer and earned the right to voice ur opinion, but plz do so, it caught me off guard is all hence reason i went defencsive. plz give us an explanation

The whole part of 8v8 fights when you loose and get frustrated is my daily life. I'm not sure if he gave you assist directions or not. But basic 8v8 Strategy is this. Hit Clerics, Bards, Druids... The main CC and Heal of there oppisite realms. The best strategy to do this timely is to have not one, or two, but EVERY tank using /assist. This doesn't work well on Midgard for some reason because no one wants to listen and think they are fine to do their own thing. But you can see how well it worked for Lagged Again and Eternal Spirits. Good players, or even newbies using /assist WORKS. I've all but given up trying to train people becuase they take me for an idiot and think because they're high RR they know whats best, but I've been 8v8 all throughout my RvR Career. So all I say is "learn from your mistakes" and move on. I've stopped caring about how people play, and I've stop blowing up on peoples playing skill/knowledge in 8v8 situations. I want people who fuck up to admit to it to themselves, and dont make a big deal out of it. Take the advice and run with it and down the road you'll be a better RvR'er. You can ask me for advice if you wish...
can't touch this~

drama. So poor.
------------------------------------------------------------------
More than anything, I notice our groups do great when we have 2 healers, and we get our ass handed to us against the good 8v8's when we have 1 healer. And then when we lose - everyone has an opinion on strategy when the bottom line is that we just didn't have the right group.

G'luck and God Speed

Always remember the times we have had, and the times we wish we had. And like those times I shall put them away in a box, with all the things unsaid and undone between us. I will label the box "Good Times Missed", and put it on a shelf in my bedroom, next to my lamp. I will never forget the word of wisdom, words that made me laugh and words that made me cry. They are stored neatly away in a separate box, labeled " Danger !! Poison!!" , just in case someone breaks into my house and wanted to steal my boxes this would trick them into thinking it was poison so they wouldnt take it, and I could always have it .. forever .. until i die and am dead.

true bwc (you know who you are) are those who stick through everything. the good, the bad, the rolondo. obviously, if someone leaves the guild, they don't belong in bwc in the first place, because the true core of the guild will stay together no matter how many people jump on and then off the bandwagon. we'll still be around, if not in-game (like me - i don't have time to play anymore), at least in-heart. (sniff)...too much drama, not enough fun. before bwc made a name for itself as the best guild on the server - it was affectionately known as the "rabble of midgard." (in a very respectful sense) - we were the loudmouthed, horse-playing, snotty nosed bunch of jackoffs that everybody loved. I personally think we need to get back to our roots, but combine it with our new-found uberificness. enough of the drama bullshit, let's kill our enemies and have a helluva time doing it. if you're not with us, who cares. we know who our friends are.

Well, the main reason I /gc quit was to cool my jets so to say. Take a step back and find out what made the game fun again. Running around with Yana's SB (albeit getting wtfpwned by anything) was a good change of pace to me. Doing the damage rather than stopping/healing it. Refresh me on the various degrees of the game and such, from a tank's standpoint.

However, I noticed several signs of me taking a break in such a manner doing more damage than intended. That was not something I wanted to happen.

I'll have rested enough by friday night, so toss me a /gc invite then, if the spot is still open. In the mean time, you'll most likely find me on Touchofdeath, getting pwned in the frontiers. If anything serious happens however, I'll rejoin the ranks sooner than friday if my 'leadership' is needed.
