Ok guys we need to get real about the next guild game

Well, summer is tought o be honest. I play games hard when school is in and find I need to brave sunlight over the brief 3 months of summer. I know Snotrocket is also away for summer so for us school kids its a time we spend less on our machines molesting the keyboard.

My view is this, I woul like to officialy move us to one of the RP servers untill Shadowbane or AC2 come out. I unfortunatly am hearing bad news from Shadowbane but find the upside enticing. I am just probing for opinion here.

I'm leaning towards AC2 or Worlds of Warcraft. I'm afraid we'll be faced with a whole slew (slough?) of next-generation games by the time those two come out though. I'm not sure this is somethin that can be decided now.

Does it have to be a MMORPG (Short term here, obviously MMORPGs only have the long-term presence that would return on a serious time investment)? Things like Warcraft3, Neverwinter nights are both good games with options for guilds that want to compete together (W3) or just screw around and play with themselves - on NWN we can play our own modules or screw around on someone else's MMORPG-style server.
Just ideas.

Zeris we would be open to any game that carries interest to NE members. We will be setting up satalite communities to support smaller ventures into other games and projects. If FPS is your thing then by all means I would play as I am enjoying STG at this time. Basicaly NE is built to house people with common interest and be an application to increase the enjoyment of this drug we call gaming. Just remember I will lead the pocket pool ring as thats just my bag baby!

I am going to have to go with AC2. It should prove to be very fast paced PvP and just damn fun to play.

NOTE:
It is the total lack of FUN that makes SB a far far far ...... ..... ..... .... .. BAH! I will not be playing SB. The list of reasons go on and on and on and are based on the fact that I spend and have been spending on every beta build about 4-8 hours a day, just hoping and thinking that if I lvl it wil be fun at long last. NOPE! 2 months and hundreds of hours later and I am finished and have lost IQ to this mind numbing game.

Must..... get..... lost...IQ....back.... AC2 ALL THE WAY!

Well, i've been playing DIablo 2 for like ever, and it is still fun in my opinion.

SWG of course I will be playing....I might still do something in SB with my friends in The Legacy, but that is about it.

We could play WC3 and NWN, I have NWN and will be buying WC3 as soon as money allows.

Hell, we could even play some TT RPG's in IRC or something in the mean time waiting for MMO's to play.

EQ2 even seems worth looking into now, as much as I shudder to say.
