Our Squad: What we need, people pick your role NOW.

Since we already have 3 reaver pilots so far, and I'm sure others are taking them up, I'm leaning towards picking up the mosquito instead once I have a few BR under my belt since no one wants a mosq pilot normally in pickup squads. Anyone have objections to it?

After playing in the vehicle trainer, I figured out that by going into 3rd person mode in the muarader, i can actually see crap. It is silly to me that the tanks have better visibility than the buggy does.

Anyways, I actually like the tanks better. The prowler and lightning are fun. I can stand the maurader now, but if people are saying tanks are such the shit I might pick up that instead. What does everyone think?

The basilisk is also a fun lil ATV thing, very very fast. Could be good for someone who wants to just pick up somethign to move around in, and can shoot as well. Altho you go so fast and gitter so much from terrain changes it is hard to aim well to me.

Ok, no question, I like the tanks a LOT better for control. Ability to rotate on a dime is nice.

Thanks Candide that helps a lot. Well If we are low on tanks I will roll a MAX/sniper, if not goin sniper/pilot.

Ya we need more ground transport.

So I am going to do Sunderer and Engineer. So I can carry the trrops.

We need Galaxy pilots with the Reavers. Mosquitos are really a waste.

We need some harrasser and tnak ground stuff.

Also need more people as medics with the other pieces, and agood sniper team.

Vex is leading the hackers, need 1-2 more of those.

Prowler and Lightning are good.

We can always opt out a reaver for a mosquito if someone is itching for the different experience, they are versatile enough to not cost us anything by making the substitution. I am galaxy certified as well and can do a hot drop then head home and grab a reaver.
I'll have an extra few cert points availible soon on our Dalton squad, what do we *need* that doesnt involve flying, cause I'm itching to try some ground combat.

Wow I started playing MAX and boy is that fun, the TR max is definately the best, but the launch over fort walls and into the air then firing into the ground is a blast.

Im enjoying the ground wars the most, MAX, vehicles and infantry.

I know some of you think the mosquito is a waste but after playing both it and the reaver, as far as air combat is concerned there's no comparison. I'm adv hack/med inf right now, do we need something else instead? I don't mind respeccing, but I am going to keep my mosquito cert. After the past two days the air superiority of it is very apparent. Yes it's weak to ground fire but I have yet to meet a reaver who can kill me in a 1v1 fight, sometimes even a 2v1 fight.

Back to my initial point, want me to stay adv hack or go to something else?

Well, I'm a huge fan of "play what you find is fun". Of course I'm also one of the first in these games to take what is needed the most.

All I want to say is the mosquito isn't a waste for the exact reason you named. I drive a tank and reavers can be a pain if you don't see tehm, so anyone out ther etaking them out is ok in my book.

I just need more people to mount my main gun. It takes a reaver out in 3 or 4 shots every time.

I have 3 points, been thinking about trying one of the MAXs out. Did you go anti inf or anti vehicle? I was leaning towards anti vehicle, to take out other MAXs. Or I may go lightning again. Or get reinforced armor.

advance hackers are a must..

with my VEx account on VS.. i managed to jack a few prowlers that were camped in the distance firing at a sieged tower.. "yoink" i jumped in the gunner seat..and laid waste to the enemy!

Sweeeeeeeet I think I'm gonna roll a MAX/sniper combo. 2 questions. IT's not many points to be able to use the small land vehicles correct. Also there are 4 charac slots? In case we need and extra pilot i can roll that also.

Yes, 4 chars per slot.

MAX/sniper has the same issue. When you aer in max armor, you have no choice in weapon. So you can't use both at same time.

No vehicles have prereqs, all are 2 or 3 pionts, reaver is 4 (gunship). Most of the 3 pointers are good.

ive been playing around and if you get into EVERY vehical and gun slot
and use EVER weapon in training
you can get BR 3 in about 20 min
I only did it once but i made my self a reaver pilot. I lag alot so i might turn to a tank or theres always MISTAH snipa
