Either way, your advice is definitely something I should take into consideration, oh and, I am still for Barbos being one of the boss men, although he is more like the wise Sage, we need a cunning general, does Zeris have what it takes?

I'll tell you this - I don't do pre-game crap. If we decided to crash down on some MMORPG, I won't be Mr. Diplomacy. It's not how I do things. First I get into the thick of it then make sense of what's going on. Stomp on toes, punch faces, make mistakes, I think that's the best way to establish ourselves based on what I can commit and our availible (member) resources.
As for other mediums - WC3, etc., we'll see. If something's popular enough to be guild-wide, we'll wait until then.

I dont know what to say really. Does anyone have more time to commit?
Ferou? FEROU! Step up..it's what you want.
No, I'm not tossing it away, but I don't know if I could whip us around and take us up, tempting and lucrative as a learning opportunity it may be.

:looks at Zeris:
:glances back at Barbos:
Well actually… just the other day I was taking with Barbos, telling him that maybe we should scrap the Nameless Empire thing and look for a stable guild that the lot of us could call home… How has Mind Candy’s development been coming along?
Where do your loyalties lie, in a failing vision holding on because of a name (or nameless) that we hold dear to our hearts, or the guild membership!?

uh....I'm gonna look at Ferou's response again later.. after maybe a couple red eye's ( 1 coffee cup, 2 shots espresso, and the rest is filled with coffe, in case you didn't know
)
but, I kinda want to stick with the name "or nameless" of the NE, mostly because of the reputation. But the main reason for me to be in any guild is for the commradre and the ability to accomplish things as a whole...
Just a thought:
If we DO stick with the name NE, we could hold several different leaders, representing different games...
for instance I believe Zeris is pumped up for AC2, while (still not sure) Barbos is for SB

I see there are some (outdated) views on games we're interested in - here's my "lineup"...
AC2 - from beta it seems decent. I wouldn't bother to play it if nobody else here didn't.
SB - I will at least give it a try, regardless of the guild. If we decide we like it, then all the better.
WC3 - I am playing on battle.net, having fun, but my college's network status (shitty) causes me to get tons of "error handling request" messages when trying to join games. Every time that happens, I get a loss. I have 1200+ losses from games I've never played (Check my l33t record, my acct is mylast-acount). Naeriad we can try to play some time, our only real option is a custom game of some type, and for that to work I usually need to spend 1-5+ minutes trying repeatedly to join the game you host. Just FYI. I hate it as much as you, I can't play with any of my friends at other schools right now.
DAoC - I used to play a long time ago, I think some of us still do. By no means a guild wide activity, and doubtfully ever will be. Enjoy it if you like, you probably won't see me in it.
The sims online - I want to borrow a friend's copy, simply because I hear there is a robot you can be. I think playing this game together would be great fun if we could cause trouble somehow, but then again I've never played any "sims" game and don't know if they're actually even fun.
FPS Games - I dont think any of us really play these very much, and I dont think these will ever be a guild-wide game.
As far as the NE itself goes, I don't mind if we stay NE or join another guild. It'd have to be a guild of people basically just like us or it wouldn't be fun in the long run - what I really care about is us sticking together, the name we call ourselves is secondary to that.

The biggest overall reason I will not run the show, is that I do not feel I have the time it takes to effective lead a guild.
Next semester I will be taking 21hours of classes, working 20-30 hours a week. Among this, I will still continue my studies of classical piano, and continued development on the two websites I am currently working with/on.
That leaves very little time to even play games, much less lead an entire group of people.

Oh my God! Sim’s is like the ideal game! Its shear genius! We don’t even need to worry about conflicting schedules or the difference from time zone to time zone. And just think about the sense of community that it can foster! By playing Sim’s, we can see how much of a flamer Naeriad really is by how he furnishes his virtual home, I can build my own Love shack, Barbos his own Lumber Mill, Zeris his own brothel, Akuma his own Botanical Garden. We can torture people, by creating a character for them, putting them in a door less window filled house, with no food to eat, bed to sleep, or place to go to the rest room. We can even make oodles off Sims, throw a party in a tiny little house full of fire hazards then watch em burn. We can pimp the virtual ladies, beat the crap out of each other, and with the new pets expansion, we may even be able to beat the crap out of our dogs!
