It is gonna be hard to widdle this bastard down to something tangible, but I shall try. Its not about Emalei being a freak, or about defending emalei who isnt here to defend himself. Its about some people wanting things done one way, some people wanting things done the other way, and some people (who didnt post) that don't care either way. I hate it when there is a G1 and a G2 in the same zone and they dont work together. It almost always results in greater success for the enemy. I hate it when one group (whether I am in it or not) doesnt want to work as a team with another Guild Group in the same zone. I think that people who hate to "Zerg" and think that more than 8 people = "Zerg" should find the other 11 mids on the server that feel the same way, stop leeching off of groups that are trying to work together to beat the enemy "Zerg", and go start a guild on a PVP server. Then they wont have to put up with all the crap they take for being awesome "Leechers" that are doing what they enjoy doing with their 12 bucks a month. If I wasn't a gimp hunter that is too underqualified to get invited into a Leech group, I would probably feel differently about "Leeching". But, alas, it is not to be, and the "Zerg", is the way for me.

Now - I have a question. Oh Great BWC Gods, What Shall We Do? Or, in other words, which one of the following /cg spams make the BWC Gods cringe?:

1.) "BWC is just a BigAss Zerg, maybe they left some stragglers for us to kill".
2.) "HOLD THE MG - Crap, there goes a BWC grp, bunch of Leechers. RALLY AT PK - SPRINT or they gonna beat us!"

Is it possible for us to do both? Maybe we can Raffle one spot in the Leech group every day, or maybe we can start making Leech groups L1 and L2 and go to seperate zones - and if conditions are right, combine and make a leeching zerg - OMG - ............. A "Leeching Zerg" - A-fucking-Mazing WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!! Who's driving L1 and L2?

I think the difference between informative news/topics needed to be covered by those with access to this forum and sugar coated personal attacks are what your posts have been about as of late Kairma. Not a bash, just telling you how "I" view them.

Personally, I dont log onto the boards to read this type of thread. They are juvenille in nature and quite frankly just seem to me as if you are looking for ways to try to elevate yourself in some way by implying ill behavior of others.

At the end of the day what has this thread brought to the table? Have we all walked away more knowledgeable? Will this thread untimately help this guild to grow in unity? I think not.

My advice is for you to start addressing the people you have issues with personally, because that is exactly what the last couple of posts you have started have been, personal issues.

Everyone is passing around judgments like you work the fucking drive thru at McDees. Emalie this and Kairma that. I guess being in my late 20's I have grown out of my you suck because your perspective is different phase. Here is what is going on -

- As we all know over half of BWC does not play DAoC anymore. We lost Amit, the Jaxers (about a dozen players), Warcat, Killets and Pink, Super, Zoid and I play half ass and my old crew is all gone (Rolondo, Guyute, Snotrocket, Baodd, Rat) on major breaks. We also lost a bunch of Gimps (not just tagged members) to Scourn on Guin. After beating up on Andred for months and coming here to Merlin and becoming a top 2 guild with all RR1 to0ns made DAoC stale for alot of our members. PS and SWG took most of them. Lets face it the guilds here are shit and BWC with a half ass effort has 0wnd this server. It is fucking amazing what BWC has accomplished with half the guild breaking or done with DAoC.

As a result we invited a lot of new blood, ALL of which have potential but anytime this happens you have a difficult time melding the personalities (a lot of strong, opinionated people here). Most of the time we get along OK but the bickering shit is going to happen when everyone loses perspective. Your enemies are not your guild mates. Emjay, Emalie and Kairma have ways they like to do things and that is great IMO. Do what you want in game; as long is it adds no blatant disrespect to the guild. Most of all have fun and focus on gaming objectives.

I know I don't play DAoC anymore, but I do agree that this was probably important enough to post here.

Kairma's post might seem like a whine, but you gotta look at it as the first salvo / indication that something's wrong. I do agree with some other gimpers here in that continuing this conversation without Emalei really does nothing except reinforce Kairma's point of view. Nothing, however, will get better until we sit Kairma and Emalei down together and make peace

Otherwise, we'll just have various people defending various people and it'll split the guild. I think Kairma and Emalei have enough friends in BWC that its probably worth it to put the extra effort in mending wounds and keeping both in the guild, because without a doubt they're both uber daoc players, and would probably be uber in other games as well.

So in the end, yes, this is a game, but if the issue is ignored enough, it'll just piss people off and they'll go their separate ways. Sometimes groups don't function well together with 2 heads (well.. pink's mom and dad have gotten by conjoined and all, but that's besides the point), so maybe its better if Emalei and Kairma for the most part form separate strike groups that coordinate on large targets, or for there to be a compromise on occassion and to get both of them to yield leadership temporarily for the sake of getting the job done.

Anyways, I know I've butted heads for leadership on occassion, but still, don't take it personal (it is a game), and understand that you're the better man (or woman) if you entertain the other guy and let him lead. And if you get rolled a couple times, just ask if he'll stick on you and give you a shot. I think whoever would be more willing if that were the case.

Then you can spam with CAPS LOCK on and shift-up <enter> to make sure he stays on you You can also macro 1 /yell Emalei group STICK ON ME. Even if he doesn't want to stick, if his group sticks, he will too.

But still, concede him the opportunity to lead the pack if he's being stubborn until we get a mediator out there. I hope we can stick together in this guild for more than 1 game, and not just for the competitive advantage of having more uber people in guild.

Don't forget, Vegas next weekend. Teambuilding event... LOLOLOL

honestly, it is a whine post but at the same time it was meant to propose a question - what do i do in the future? in this specific case it was foolish for two groups to roam seperate in forest sauvage because large amounts of albs would be moving together through the zone to defend their frontier. having two seperate groups makes guildmates competitors - is this not unhealthy? others have said BWC is about teamwork, which i agree with and is why i eventually joined BWC after being asked, so is it right when guildmates vehemently refuse to cooperate?
