Hmm... as a serk, I always thought thanes had a big advantage in RvR over my class. You can shield stun, insta range attack, wear chain, and self buff.

Serks can do decent damage, if you have a good gank squad. Otherwise moo.

In my opinin Thanes are a good pvp class, maybe more so in larger scale, with the AE's and all. Ugnot is a damn good thane. Spreading pain. Blood like rain. Lightening Chain. Bring it to Emain. Hibernia's bane. Going insane. Getting on a train. Going to SPain.
