interesting NF trend

I reviewed all the servers and Mid as a realm is dominant in only 2 low populated servers, Kay and Igrain. Are we frustrated with our ability to organized or is it partialy masked by NF a discriminating expansion for Midgard? I believe in numbers and based on those numbers Mid is dominant in 10% of the servers and far less than that if you translate it per population among all servers combined since Kay, and Ig are both low pop servers.

Hibernia is most dominant closely followed by Alb, Mid is far behind the 8 ball.

And the 2 servers mid does dominate they only have one extra relic. On the other hand Albs and Hibs have servers where they have 4+ relics and some where they own all the relics.

NF=discriminates against Mids=the numbers dont lie

When was mid dominating on Kay Winke?

3 or so days ago hib had every relic on Kay. I know this because my friend (Littleblur on Mid/Merlin) plays on Kay and I made a mentalist over there a few days ago over the 4th weekend. While I was playing the hibs took all the relics and were holding them for awhile. So maybe it was just recent that mids fought back with help from albs?

come on. lets not make this VN. please be logical and truthful.

NF=range

Mid=melee

NF+Mid=Lose

Could mid overcome this hinderance? Yes, and easily, but it requires LOTS and LOTS of boring seige/rerolling of toons.

This is a game. People picked midgard for MDK(murder/death/kill). They wanted to hit stuff. Not shoot a spell at it or an arrow. So they should not have to reroll or play their toons as seige whores.

Now we will see if people wait it out until Mythic fixes this issue. which they will.

just my opinion though.

its a misconception.

mid casters equal to hib and alb casters, its just that mid never had enough of them.

in 5 months, mid will have just as many casters as hib and alb, but that won't stop the people who won't wait it out from quitting or giving up before that happens.

it also didn't help that many of the "power-gamers" (who anchored the gank groups which gave mids the perception of being more uber than everyone else) suddenly found that RvR as they had conditioned themselves to running had changed dramatically. Instead of coping and changing their strategies in the midst of a new game which they were probably getting tired of even before NF, they decided that by cashing out they could rid themselves of a horrible hobby (MMORPGs) and turn a quick buck.

little did they know that with the exception of a small %, escaping to their world of serving burgers and fries and being the opposite of uber IRL sucks ass, so they will slowly find their ways back into the environment which allowed their e-peen to flourish.

This is true. But thats not Mid Merlins complete problem. The situatiin is what it is, but are we going to roll over and die or are we going to fight?

1. we are melee realm. not supposed to "rely" on casters. Why there is not alot of them. If people wanted to make casters they would got another realm.

2. We do not have as many range classes.

just my oppinion that they should up hunter's range to be compeditive with rangers and scouts and honestly i think we would have a little bit better chance :)

I do not think they should change midgard classes at all. I think the game(except for animists) is pretty balanced now. I htink they just need to give melee a viable role. It is to boring for them. Bottom line that is the prob.

Somethings wrong if Hib Palomides has 6 relics...

#1 Animists

#2 other realms must have a few more range players as killets suggested

#3 Hib/Alb cross teaming on a few servers

Give melee rope ladders with grappling hooks. That would be cool as hell imo.

or

Give melee insta-ghetto siege targetted via GTAE

I believe mythic will do something eventually. This isn't just Mid tanks that are affected.

And gank groups of any flavor can still be viable playing hit and run around docks and bridges. But I agree with what Killet said, lots of people don't want to learn something new, and are looking for an excuse to get out.
