Are people going to be rolling around with millions of gold or is it hard to make money in WoW?

you will be poor until level 45, then buy a mount and be poor again until 50. then you start making a bit of cash and you will probably sink it all in skills until 58, then you will be making bank.

oh, that also depends on how much xp you get doing quests... grinding will make you a bit more cash (one reason skinning is a good skill to invest in at the beginning, you have to kill a mob to skin it, then you can sell the leather, all the while you are making $$ from drops, extra xp, and more SPs than you would doing mostly quests).
